Just a 5 minute walk is a specialist hospital for women and babies. Many families stay at The Lurline prior to the exciting delivery of their newest family member.

As a teaching facility of UNSW in the fields of obstetrics, gynaecology and neonatology the Royal has a history of innovation in women’s health care services, teaching and research.

Excellent!

On arrival you are met by an experienced person who is warm and friendly. The rooms are well maintained and certainly spotless! My reason for staying at the Lurline is that it is only minutes to the shops, restaurants, Children’s hospital and the Light Rail network that takes less than half an hour to get into the centre of Sydney.

2 Night Stay

What a fantastic find. An elegantly restored hotel, only 4 minutes walk to our Doctor in Randwick. Warmly welcomed by Paul on the front desk who explained everything in a polished professional manor. Room was clean and well presented. Had all the essentials. Under Parking first in best dressed, on street parking again, have to be lucky….although, all good for us. Endless cafes opposite for breakfast and lunch. Very good value for money, will definately stay there again.

Caring & Hospitable

We had need to attend Prince of Wales hospital and right up until our arrival had no idea of length of stay. Nothing was a problem for the people at Lurline. We (I) stayed for a week and extedned our stay at short notice. I hope we have no further need to attend the hospital but if we do the first call will be to the Lurline. They may not have realised it but they made a stressful and difficult time just that little bit easier. Thank you. Phil and Karen Each day just had a short unwind, sometimes with a wine, in the courtyard area. Wifi allowed me to continue to operate my business If is directly opposite Prince of Wales and allowed me to visit many times through the day, so important when away from home for an extended period We can’t thank you enough

Excellent

Our son had a follow up MRI with his oncologist. We usually stay at Ronald McDonald House but they were fully booked this time. The Lurline was comfortable, affordable and convenient with minutes walk to the Sydney Children’s Hospital, cafes and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks! Excellent! Very clean and modern. We left from Canberra at 5pm. With a 3 hour drive to Sydney. The lurline offered after hours access to the property which was Clear, quick and efficient making is so much easier with small children in tow.
